Adams Rite EPDs

Environmental Product Declarations

An EPD presents quanitified environmental data for products or systems based on information from a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Their purpose is to promote transparency to the public, for building products. EPDs are developed based on the requirements of ISO 14025 (Type III Environmental Declarations).

What is the Value of an EPD:

  • EPDs can contribute to earning points in LEED certifications and will meet the needs for future Green Building Codes
  • EPDs reflect continuous environmental improvements of products
  • EPDs are becoming more common especially in new construction

Adams Rite is proud to have earned an EPD for the MS1850S Series MS® Deadlock and continues to pursue obtaining more EPDs for our products.
